Netball Championships
Congratulations to our Grade 7/8 Netball Team who competed on Tuesday. They showed great maturity and resilience throughout the day and faced a tough Marist Regional College team in the Grand Final. In a close game they took out the final 12-10.
This team has qualified for the Statewide competition to be held in November, well done!
The Grade 9/10 Netball team travelled to Ulverstone to also compete in the High School Championships for their age group yesterday.
They played three games which they won easily, moving into the Grade final against Marist regional College. BHS were down by 6 goals at half time but clawed their way back to be level at full time. Four minutes of overtime with a golden goal finish from Taya Munday and Takiri Bourn gave BHS the win in a nail biter!
The team will now compete in the State Championships to be held in Ulverstone in November.
A great result from both the 7/8 and 9/10 teams who both made it to the state finals.
